It took many community volunteers, with materials and the
supervision of a highly qualified playground construction
company, to complete this state-of-the-art playground
installation in just one day!!
The
playground opened for ‘fun’ on Sunday April 22nd after the ribbon
cutting ceremony. It was a beautiful day with hundreds of
Feather Sound residents and children obviously enjoying this
great new addition to the neighborhood.
Thanks to all the volunteers and community
businesses that contributed!
And to Pinellas County for the grant that has helped make
this possible.
The
playground is not the only new state of the art improvement to our Recreation Area. Beautiful picnic
shelters, graceful park furnishings, elegant pavered walkways,
and well-designed human and pet drinking fountains are now in
place.
