New lights installed in Feather Sound in 2004 are the result of a decision by the FSCSD board to replace about 200 fiberglass lighting fixtures which were over 20 years old.

The new fixtures are 100 watt lamps which are double the lighting wattage of the ones they replaced. The lights are leased from Florida Progress which is also responsible for their maintenance. You can  request a streetlight repair online
