Biff Baker has served as a member of the Board for many years and as its chairman for the last six years. Members of the Board would like to recognize his excellent leadership and selfless service to the Feather Sound Community. While chairman of the Board, Biff has overseen the completion of many community enhancement efforts, including significant upgrades to the street lighting network, major improvements to greenspaces under the responsibility of the taxing district and the completion of new playground and recreation facilities in the Earl Maize Recreation Area.  These enhancements to our community would not have been possible without the dedication and many hours of volunteer work that Biff has contributed. His openness to ideas, intuitiveness, focus and team-building skills have been instrumental in directing the taxing district Board through many years of successfully carrying out its charter in service to the community.    

There are many other accomplishments that could be mentioned in tribute to Biff’s years of service on the board, but perhaps no better measure of the value of his contributions than the extent to which he will be missed. Thank you Biff! You have been an inspiration to all of us!                                             January 2010
